Who We Are
Andrew Lipow is President of Lipow Oil Associates, LLC. He has over thirty years of experience in the petroleum refining, trading and consulting industry. For seven years, Mr. Lipow traded crude oil, gasoline, jet fuel and distillate at Vitol, a privately held trading company. Prior to that, Mr. Lipow traded oil based commodities at Basis Petroleum and J. Aron. His 16 year tenure at Amoco Oil Company and Amoco Corporation provides extensive supply and refining experience including operations on several process units. Mr. Lipow has a Master of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has been a contributor to Fox Business News, CNBC, Bloomberg TV and other local media outlets and his quotes can frequently be found in articles carried by Bloomberg, AFP, Associated Press and Newsday.

A diverse range of projects ranging from supply/demand issues to the effects of changing environmental regulations offer clients, seeking a different perspective, an opportunity to employ a consultant.
